The HP Moonshot-45G Switch Module is designed to provide high speed, low-latency connectivity while dramatically reducing cost and complexity of deploying solutions at scale. The 45G Switch Module, together with the HP Moonshot-6SFP Uplink Module, provide 1GbE network connections to cartridges within the HP Moonshot 1500 chassis. Up to two switch modules are supported in each chassis. Multiple modules can be stacked to eliminate the cost of TOR switches and provide failover in the event of a switch or uplink failure.
